STAR CROSSING
Star Crossing is a visual novel-style rhythm game set in the future. Build relationships between characters to strengthen their bonds and improve their performances!

lead programmer for the visual novel portion of Star Crossing.

developed an engine that could be fed formatted text files which would then output fully-functional scenes, complete with character sprites with specified positions and expressions, sound, and dialogue with custom highlights.

built the save/load system, the conversation system, and implemented the UI for the game.
I worked on this project in a team of three, along with a group of artists from San Jose State University.
